Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Sewing Production Coordinator in North Carolina to ensure a smooth flow of work from Cutting to Sewing. You will organize and deliver cut fabric, components, and production orders to sewing operators so schedules are met efficiently.

Responsibilities include material staging, verification, inventory monitoring, and cross-team collaboration to maintain quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience demonstrating performance competency.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move cut fabric, components, and work orders between Cutting and Sewing.
• Ensure sewing materials and production orders align with schedules.
• Organize and stage materials to minimize downtime.
• Verify materials are complete and properly identified.
• Monitor work-in-process inventory and report shortages or concerns.
• Support daily output and on-time delivery goals.
• Track materials and production orders throughout the facility.
• Safely transport materials between departments.
• Maintain organized work areas and staging locations.
• Collaborate with Cutting, Sewing, Quality, and Production teams.
• Communicate production priorities and material needs.
• Assist with cross-training and support other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
