Job summary

Skeeter Products, Inc. is seeking a sewing operator to join our upholstery team in Kilgore, Texas. You will be responsible for sewing cut vinyl and leather into seat covers, following specifications and maintaining production quality.

Must be able to sit or stand for 10+ hours, have sewing experience, and work carefully with detail and color sensitivity to meet exacting standards. Join us to help produce high-performance bass boats.

Qualifications

• Previous sewing experience preferred.
• Familiarity and comfort level around sewing machines.
• Ability to sit or stand 10+ hours a day.
• Manual dexterity.
• Good coordination.
• Detail oriented.
• Color sensitivity.
• Have good quality habits.
• Have good attendance habits.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Collect appropriate pieces of vinyl/leather as needed for work order.
• Sewing process will include sewing vinyl/leather, backing, welting, puffs and other upholstery materials per specifications.
• Cleaning, oiling and maintaining machine as needed.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Must be able to sew and meet quality standards of current production effectively within grade level.
• Any other duties assigned.
