Job summary

Rightfully Sewn Inc in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Sewing Operator to cut and sew production orders to our quality standards. You will also sew samples, track operations, and assist with quality control, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Cut and sew production orders according to the highest of quality standards.
• Cut and sew samples.
• Track order of operations when necessary.
• Give feedback on order of operations to improve processes.
• Keep sewing area clean and organized.
• Vacuum sewing machines weekly.
• Attend production meetings when necessary.
• Assist with quality control when necessary.
• Inform Production and Operations Director when sewing equipment requires maintenance or supplies are about to run out so more can be ordered.
• Represent Rightfully Sewn at internal events such as tours and meetings.

Reports to: Director, Production & Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• ? Cut and sew production orders according to the highest of quality standards;
• ? Cut and sew samples;
• ? Track order of operations when necessary;
• ? Give feedback on order of operations in order to make improvements;
• ? Keep sewing area clean and organized;
• ? Vacuum sewing machines weekly;
• ? Attend production meetings when necessary;
• ? Assist with quality control when necessary;
• ? Inform Production and Operations Director when sewing equipment requires maintenance or supplies are about to run out so more can be ordered; and
• ? Represent Rightfully Sewn at occasional internal events, such as tours and meetings.
