Job summary

ReadyOne Industries in El Paso, TX is hiring Sewing Machine Operators through the AbilityOne program. Earn $11.00–$12.00 hourly with paid training, a 4-day work week, and both full-time and part-time opportunities. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Some knowledge of industrial sewing machine operations preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow verbal or written instructions.
• Good mechanical aptitude to adjust machines.

Responsibilities

• Mark patterns and sewing placement locations on garment components.
• Perform trimming, cutting, and thread removal.
• Apply fuse materials using heat press equipment.
• Perform pick and turn operations for garment components.
• Prepare parts and materials for sewing operations.
• Assist in inspection of garment components prior to assembly.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for production tasks.
• Maintain safe work practices and report equipment issues.
