Using state-of-the-art equipment to include automated and adjustable work stations, operators have the flexibility to move throughout the workday. With height adjustable work stations, operators can easily switch between standing and seated positions. Blue Force Gear, Inc. invests heavily in both training and automation to allow operators to be more efficient in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:
  • Operates industrial sewing machines and stitching of heavy materials within a manufacturing environment to produce military tactical gear using automated work stations.
  • Ensures quality control standards are met.
  • Produces various item configurations.
  • Works efficiently as part of a team and independently.
  • Handles pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Cuts and retrieves materials and hardware and places at workstations.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have ability to read, write, use a ruler, add/subtract and calculate fractions.
  • Experience with multiple machines (tackers, edge binders, walking foot, single/double) is a plus but NOT required!
  • Must be able to receive and carry out instructions provided in written or verbal form.
Skills:

Normal working days – Monday through Friday. 40 hours per week, occasional overtime. Hours – 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Benefits available after 60 days.
