Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking a sewing operator to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced facility. You will operate sewing machines to join, hem, reinforce, or decorate parts and help ensure overall product quality.

You will read and follow production sheets, adapt to material stretch, and communicate issues promptly. The role may require overtime to meet production deadlines and requires reliability and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and produce consistent results.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machine to join, gather, hem, reinforce, or decorate articles.
• Sew cut pieces to form components (Truck, Bus, Armrest, etc.).
• Maintain quality through production path and communicate issues.
• Follow process sheets and support overtime as needed.
