Job summary

Blackfin Boats LLC in the United States is seeking a sewing machine operator to join our production team. You will set up and operate an industrial sewing machine, following patterns to produce finished articles.

We value a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to take instruction with good reasoning. This is a full-time position with overtime as needed, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial sewing machine.
• Install bobbins, needles and guide plates to accommodate different fabric and pattern types and create assorted stitching patterns.
• Produce sewn, finished articles by following patterns and instructions that typically change with each project.
• Maintain inventory of materials and tools.
• Monitor for imperfections in material or threads.
• Notify supervisor if a mistake in pattern or work instruction is discovered.

Monterey and Blackfin Boats are recruiting for a sewing machine operator. We are looking for someone:

• with a good work ethic
• who works well with others
• who can take instruction and has good reasoning skills

This is a full time position. Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:45pm. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Rate of pay starts at $16.25 per hour
