Job summary

Marquee Staffing in Lansdale, PA is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator for a unique sports equipment manufacturer. You will read patterns, measure and cut materials, and operate heavy-duty sewing machines to fulfill diverse orders.

Responsibilities include achieving high quality standards, performing final inspections, and following OSHA safety rules. This role prefers experience with heavy fabrics and teamwork-minded individuals in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines and heavyweight fabrics.
• Ability to read sewing patterns and production drawings.
• Knowledge of single and double-needle sewing machines.
• Able to measure, glue, sew, and cut accurately.
• Team-oriented with proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sewing orders of varying degrees of size, difficulty, and types of materials (foam, vinyl).
• Measure and cut as assigned.
• Read and interpret sewing patterns, technical specifications, or production drawings to complete jobs.
• Perform quality control on all work to maintain product integrity.
