Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator for 1st shift (5:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Thursday with occasional Friday) to join a fast-paced team assembling bug screens, winter fronts, and more. You’ll rotate through stations and perform quality checks to meet standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior manufacturing experience preferred. RealTruck offers paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth in a global company headquartered in Michigan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing, packaging, and process control equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing and production machines to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or tooling needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate production and material usage records.
• Adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and KPIs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support continuous production.

Physical Requirements

This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
