Job summary

RealTruck in Howe, IN is seeking a Machine Operator for a fast-paced, hands-on role assembling vent visors, hood shields, floor mats, and related components. The position involves rotating through stations, using drills and rivet tools to maintain steady production.

You’ll be evaluated by safety, quality, and productivity KPIs. The role offers an immediate start, paid orientation and training, and weekly direct deposited pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing, packaging, and process control equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines to ensure continuous production at a high quality level with minimal waste.
• Performs in-process inspections and ensures products meet visual standards of acceptance.
• Produces required quantities according to production schedule.
• Prepares equipment for startup and performs setup adjustments.
• Adjusts machine settings to meet specifications and timelines.
• Ensures accurate data reporting in daily production reports.
• Identifies defective materials by color, surface blemishes, finish, and dimensions.

You will stay active and on the move rotating into various stations in this fast-paced environment assembling Ventvisors, hood shields, floor mats, fender flares, storage boxes, and running boards options using drills, screw guns, rivet guns & more!

Core Functions

• Operates machines to ensure continuous production at a constant rate of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials throughout the entire shift and performing basic adjustments to ensure safe and efficient production of products
• Perform in-process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance
• Responsible for producing parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion
• Perform operational procedures to ensure the quality of the product packaged
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements
• Ensure daily production report data is reported correctly and up to date
• Recognize defective materials for color, surface blemishes, finish, and dimensions

Physical Requirements

This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
