Job summary

RealTruck in Howe, IN is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator for 1st shift 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Thursday with occasional Friday. You will operate sewing and production machines, perform inspections, and maintain a clean, safe workplace while meeting quality and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing, packaging, and process control equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing and production machines to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or tooling needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate production and material usage records.
• Adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and KPIs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with additional tasks to support continuous production.
