Tempur Sealy is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble mattress components accurately in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow detailed sewing patterns, perform quality checks, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily targets. The role requires standing for long periods, occasional heavy lifting, and a willingness to work overtime and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Heavy lifting as required (e.g., moving rolls of fabric, mattress components).
• Team-oriented and collaborative work approach.
• Excellent visual acuity to detect imperfections and ensure precise stitching.
• Stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble mattress components per specifications.
• Interpret and follow verbal and written sewing patterns and production quotas.
• Perform quality checks on sewn products to ensure high standards.
• Load and unload materials onto sewing machines; may involve heavy lifting.
• Collaborate with team to maintain production flow and meet targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Sealy Mattress Manufacturing is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality mattress components, ensuring precision and efficiency in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble various mattress components according to specifications.
• Accurately interpret and follow verbal and written instructions for sewing patterns, materials, and production quotas.
• Perform quality checks on sewn products to ensure they meet Sealy’s high standards and identify any defects.
• Load and unload materials onto and from sewing machines, which may involve heavy lifting.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain production flow and meet daily targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• Proven ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job (e.g., moving rolls of fabric, mattress components).
• Strong commitment to team collaboration and working effectively with colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work cohesively within a team environment to achieve common goals.
• Excellent visual acuity to detect imperfections and ensure precise stitching and quality.
• Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum of 8 hours or more per shift.
• Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance‑must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
