Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Sewing Machine Operator in Crowley, LA. The role requires operating, monitoring, and maintaining sewing machines to produce quality products on a Monday–Friday schedule from 4am to 1:30pm, with a pay rate of $12.00 per hour.

You will inspect finished items, follow production schedules, read basic work instructions, and support a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. Training is available for qualified candidates with mechanical aptitude and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
• Previous sewing exp desired but will train.
• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

As a Sewing Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
