Job summary

The City of West Monroe is seeking a Vacuum Truck Operator to maintain and operate vacuum truck equipment for the city's sanitary sewer, storm drainage, lift stations, and related utilities. Under supervision, you will perform high-pressure jetting, remove wastewater and debris, assist with repairs, and respond to emergencies, with daily vehicle inspections and documentation.

This on-site role requires a High School diploma and a valid CDL Class B, and offers regular hours with possible on-call

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work and outdoor conditions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vacuum truck and related equipment.
• Clean sanitary sewer lines, storm drains, and lift stations.
• Assist with sewer maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.
