Job summary

Kitsap County Public Works is seeking a Technology Analyst to support the Sewer Utility's critical infrastructure systems. You will oversee asset management databases and applications, ensuring staff have reliable access to software for facility maintenance, inspection workflows, and operational decision-making.

You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and inspection teams, advancing data quality and tool modernization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/GIS/Engineering Tech with four years of related experience or equivalent.
Eight years of progressively responsible experience acceptable.
Experience maintaining GIS sewer system layers and spatial analysis.
Experience administering asset management systems and data integration.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain applications used by Sewer Utility staff.
Develop custom reports that summarize data and support project objectives.
Write programs and build analytical models using appropriate programming languages.
Perform statistical or spatial analysis to support operational and engineering needs.
Maintain and administer databases and data quality for asset management systems.
Provide demonstrations, training, and presentations for Sewer Utility technology tools.
Work directly with end users to provide support and problem resolution.
Coordinate technology initiatives and project design with teams.
