S&J Plumbing in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a Sewer Technician (Residential) to diagnose and repair residential drain systems and lead customers to informed buying decisions.

We offer a flexible pay structure with hourly pay and spiffs, a 100% commission option with earning potential up to 24% for top performers, and a company truck; plus training, benefits, and a family-friendly culture to grow your career.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential sewer technician experience.
• Ability to work in a positive team environment.
• Self-starter who is able to get the job done.
• 1 year minimum mini excavator experience.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Hydro-jetting, rodding and video inspecting sewers for our customers.
• Able to pass a background check and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
• Keep your truck inventory up to date.
• Properly complete paperwork.
• Join the on-call rotation.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Participate in training, allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
