Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Sewer/Presser to provide high-quality alterations services within the Alterations & Store Team.

You will perform sewing and pressing tasks, manage workload, and ensure items are completed on time while meeting the department's productivity goals. You'll use store technology to track alteration requests and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years sewing and pressing experience.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Able to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform sewer and pressing tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards.
• Manage workload, follow through on customer needs, and complete items on time.
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following proper processes and procedures.
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs.
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration within the Alterations & Store Team.
