Job summary

Arhaus Recruiting seeks a temporary production sewist for our Ohio facility. You will sew fabric and leather cushions and flat-work pieces to specification, operate an electric sewing machine, and follow production tickets and sewing standards to ensure straight, uniform stitches.

This on-site position requires 2 years sewing experience in manufacturing, good ruler use, attention to detail, and the ability to sit for up to four hours. Employment is at-will and ends when the project is complete.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ sewing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and use a ruler accurately.
• Ability to thread and operate industrial sewing machines.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to sit for up to 4 hours.
• Dependable, positive, and team‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Sew fabric and leather cushions and flat‑work pieces according to production specifications.
