Job summary

Raymark Plumbing & Sewer in Seattle is seeking a dependable Sewer Division Laborer to support maintenance, repair, excavation, and inspection crews on underground utilities projects. You will assist with preparing sites, handling tools and materials, and aiding technicians to ensure timely completion of sewer work.

This full-time role requires physical stamina, a valid WA driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

Assist sewer technicians and equipment operators with repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
Perform excavation support activities, including digging, trench preparation, backfilling, and site cleanup.
Assist with sewer camera inspections, hydro jetting, pipe cleaning, and trenchless rehabilitation projects.
Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, pumps, and other equipment as directed.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
Follow company safety policies and all applicable OSHA regulations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and subcontractors.
Participate in emergency response work, including sewer backups and urgent service calls.
