Job description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines used in the manufacture of filtration products.

What you will do
  • Operate and maintain sewing equipment and related parts in accordance with operating standards.
  • Meet or exceed consistent daily and weekly output while following quality guidelines.
  • Read and interpret work orders and adjust machines and materials to match, including selecting fabric, thread and needles, mounting necessary attachments and double checking settings before start of producing.
  • Ensure integrity and quality of product in accordance with quality standards. Inspect and repair finished products as needed and make adjustments to the machine as needed to prevent quality issues.
  • Record accurately all information into the production system once product count is complete. This includes number of pieces completed during each work order during shift.
  • Troubleshoot machine and schedule maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Comply with OSHA regulation as well as Menardi safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with ISO processes and procedures to maintain certification.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
We believe you have
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
