Job summary

H2O Innovation in Gulfport, MS is seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team for a full-time, permanent position. You will unblock sewers and vacuum materials from lines, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the vacuum truck.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, the ability to obtain a Tanker Endorsement, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of related experience. You will follow safety guidelines, perform preventive maintenance, and complete written reports.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience.
• Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions in sewer environments.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Unstop sewer blockages as required and vacuum materials from lines.
• Dispose of material in an appropriate location.
• Maintain and operate vacuum truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Ensure a safe work zone is set up prior to work beginning.
• Complete and submit written reports.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
