UBEO Business Services seeks a Setup Technician / Delivery Driver to assemble and prepare office equipment, deliver and pick up devices, and maintain quality control for customer installations. The role requires strict adherence to safety, proper documentation, and professional communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include updating firmware/settings, completing administrative work on time, and ensuring equipment is ready for deployment while maintaining warehouse

Qualifications

• Level of Education: High School or GED.
• Job Related Formal Education: None Required.
• Job Related Experience: Technical Related Experience Preferred.
• Experience in Inventory Control is preferred.
• Delivery experience is required or preferred.
• Must have an acceptable driving record; post-offer drug test and DOT physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Setup Procedures specific to the product and manufacture.
• Maintain high level quality control in the equipment preparation process to ensure devices function per specifications.
• Update equipment firmware levels and settings, document activity accurately.
• Complete administrative tasks on time with error-free documentation.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform daily delivery and pickup of office product equipment.
• Communicate with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration professionally.
• Operate delivery truck safely and comply with driving regulations.
• Keep inventory organized in and out of the warehouse.
• Support UBEO BUSINESS SERVICES and sales/service teams as needed.

UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Canon, Ricoh, Xerox and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.

Department: Supply Chain / Logistics
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager / Logistics / Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly

Purpose

This technical position is responsible for assembly and preparation of equipment, the delivery and removal of office equipment at/from our clients. The Clients first impression of the service and support UBEO provides is critical to our business relationship and Client loyalty and as such, this individual is expected to efficiently execute setup procedures and maintain strict quality control of the products intended for delivery. Also responsible for proper handling, loading and transporting of equipment and maintaining proper contact with the customer, dispatch and sales personnel. Works closely with all other employees to ensure deliveries are completed in a timely manner. Ensures all paperwork is completed accurately and timely. Assist with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free. Provide accurate documentation and activity reporting.

• Complete daily delivery and pick-up of office product equipment.
• Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive, and professional.
• Adhere to safe driving regulations
• Keep inventory neat, clean and organized in and out of the warehouse.
• Perform other activities that support UBEO BUSINESS SERVICES and our Sales/Service organization.
