VRC Engineered Solutions in Idaho is hiring a Setup Technician for 2nd shift. You’ll learn to set up and remove molds, prep machines, and run production with quality and safety in mind. Paid training and full benefits start on day one.

No experience? No problem. We’ll train you and help you grow in a dynamic plastics environment serving medical, automotive, aerospace, and more. You’ll gain hands-on skills, teamwork, and a clear path to advancement.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and removing molds for production runs.

• Starting up equipment and ensuring parts run and look right.
• Teaming with operators and providing guidance as needed.
• Monitoring part quality and hitting production goals.
• Following safety procedures and lockout/tagout training.

Now Hiring: Setup Technician - 2nd Shift

Base Wage: $21.70/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential + full benefits + paid training!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting up and removing molds for production runs (don’t worry — we’ll show you how!)
• Cleaning and prepping machines to keep operations smooth
• Starting up equipment and making sure parts look great and run efficiently
• Teaming up with operators, sharing guidance, and even stepping in when needed
• Keeping an eye on part quality, solving problems on the fly, and hitting production goals
• Staying safe and locked in (yes, we teach lockout/tagout!)
• Growing your skills every day and having fun doing it!

What We’re Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic math and blueprint-reading skills
• Willingness to learn ERP systems (we use IQMS)
• Safe and steady hands (you’ll be using cranes and stacking systems)
• Someone who works hard and plays well with others!

Physical Stuff

• You’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and staying active
• Sometimes you’ll work near machines or outdoors—nothing too wild, just enough to keep it interesting
• It can be noisy, but we provide everything you need to stay safe and comfortable
