We are seeking a skilled and dependable Setup Technician to support our precision metal stamping operations in Piscataway, New Jersey. Our manufacturing facility produces close‑tolerance metal components for highly regulated medical device and aerospace applications.
The Setup Technician is responsible for preparing, installing, adjusting, troubleshooting, and operating stamping presses, tooling, and auxiliary equipment. This position ensures that each production job is set up safely and efficiently in accordance with approved work instructions, engineering drawings, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience setting up progressive, compound, and secondary‑operation dies; operating coil‑fed press equipment; performing dimensional inspections; and resolving production issues. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and a consistent commitment to safety and quality.
Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). Overtime Eligible. Flexibility To Work 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) is also Preferred.

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour (pending experience)
