Job summary

Cash Depot is seeking Setup & Refurb Technicians to recondition equipment for customer use in a like-new condition. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and Lean-driven process improvements in a warehouse-like setting.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of experience, with electronics experience preferred. You will support inventory, testing, and maintenance activities during a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree / GED required.
  • 1+ year of professional work experience; electronics experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn electrical/mechanical testing equipment.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Recondition equipment to like-new condition for customers.
  • Support safe work environment and safety program compliance.
  • Test equipment to verify operation before restocking.
  • Dismantle old machines and assist with inventory and shipping prep.
  • Interior/exterior cleaning, painting and maintenance as directed.
  • Identify efficiency improvements and assist team members as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:
Setup & Refurb Technicians recondition equipment to where it is able to be used by our customers in a new like condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support a safe work environment, practicing safe working techniques, and compliance to safety programs.
  • Ensure products meet or exceed quality and performance standards, improve efficiency within processes and procedures and continually improve through the use of Lean tools.
  • Recondition parts and equipment as directed.
  • Interior & exterior cleaning, painting, and maintenance duties as directed.
  • Dismantling of old machines.
  • Assist with inventory, warehouse and delivery preparations.
  • Complete assigned tasks within scheduling deadlines.
  • Identify and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Testing equipment to verify it is operational prior to placing back into inventory.
  • Proper use of associated programs for logging daily assignments.
  • Operate as a team player and help to unify the team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)
  • High School Degree / GED
  • 1+ year of professional work experience, electronics experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical or ability to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical testing equipment or ability to learn.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates in a warehouse setting with a technical / repair lab, shipping and receiving area and equipment set-up and reconditioning environment. This role routinely may use standard electronic / mechanical testing equipment, hand lifts and forklifts, and hand tools. Will use office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as business needs require.
