Job summary

Blue Owl,NYSE: OWL, seeks an Investment Operations Professional for our Chicago office. You will support deal teams in the settlement of public and private investments, using Aladdin to book trades and maintain records.

You will collaborate with custodians, portfolio managers, treasury, legal, and accounting to ensure timely settlements, process capital calls, and handle transfer and re-registration activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in investment operations.
• Experience supporting public or private credit and alternative investments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support deal teams in the settlement of public and private investment transactions.
• Utilize BlackRock Aladdin to book trades, maintain transaction records, monitor activity, and support settlement workflows.
• Coordinate with custodians, portfolio managers, treasury, legal, and accounting teams to facilitate settlements and resolve issues.
• Manage capital calls processing and post-transfer record maintenance.
• Lead transfer and re-registration activities of private credit investments, including pre-transfer reconciliations and wire instructions.
• Oversee public markets trading operations, CTM trade matching, and DTC settlement coordination.
• Serve as a central point of contact for ad-hoc inquiries and cross-functional communication.
• Gather, validate, and distribute corporate action information while coordinating upcoming events.
• Develop and document operational procedures to improve efficiency and controls.
