Eagle Crusher Co. Inc. is seeking skilled Set-up welders to join our team of welders in Bucyrus, OH.

The role involves laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components to set-up and weld structural parts, using TIG, MMA, and other welding methods. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of set-up welding experience, with the ability to pass a 2G weld test and read blueprints, welding symbols, and process specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience performing set-up welds and passing a 2G weld test.
• Experience with TIG, MMA welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process specifications and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of different metals and their properties.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and welding drawings to determine equipment, layout, and welding plan.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, TIG, MMA or other welding methods.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts for welding.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures; perform repairs as needed.
