Job summary

siffron is seeking a Set-Up Technician to accurately set up equipment and tooling to produce parts per print specifications while supporting production schedules, quality standards, and operational efficiency. The role requires reading prints, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing hook forming machines, adjusting settings, and collaborating with tool room and engineering to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in machine set-up and operation preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare hook forming machines for production runs.
• Adjust machine settings to meet production rates and schedules.
• Operate machines and assist with material handling as needed.
• Collaborate with tool room and engineering for continuous improvements in setups and tooling.
• Support 5S standards and maintain a clean, safe work area.
