Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years in manufacturing/warehouse/industrial environment.
• Experience setting up, troubleshooting, and operating automated vision sorting equipment.
• Ability to read and maintain production and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, validate, and optimize vision sorting equipment for production readiness.
• Operate equipment safely to meet production targets.
• Perform changeovers and setup adjustments per product specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Verify operation of sorting equipment and monitor performance during runs.
• Conduct setup validations and quality inspections; revalidation as needed.
• Train and support Sorter Associates on operation and quality requirements.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Load materials and support production workflow as needed.
• Package, label, and palletize finished products for shipment.
• Maintain production, quality, and inventory records.
• Ensure lot traceability and compliance with customer requirements.

Set-Up Technician

The Set-Up Technician is responsible for setting up, validating, troubleshooting, and operating computerized vision sorting equipment used to inspect, sort, and package products for shipment. This role supports production efficiency, quality standards, and operational excellence by ensuring equipment is properly configured and functioning at optimal levels.

The Set-Up Technician serves as a technical resource within the department, providing support and training to Sorter Associates while collaborating with Quality and Operations teams to maintain workflow, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Set up, validate, and optimize computerized vision sorting equipment to ensure production readiness.
• Operate sorting equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production targets.
• Perform equipment changeovers and setup adjustments based on product specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Verify proper operation of sorting equipment and monitor performance throughout production runs.
• Conduct setup validations, quality inspections, and periodic revalidation activities.
• Train and support Sorter Associates on equipment operation, quality requirements, and best practices.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities and routine equipment inspections.
• Load materials and support production workflow as needed.
• Package, label, and palletize finished products for shipment.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and inventory records.
• Ensure lot traceability and compliance with customer requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, troubleshoot, and operate automated vision sorting equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and maintain production and quality documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

$20.77 – $25.96 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
