Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking an Inspector/Equipment Operator in Cheraw, SC to set up and program operating machines, oversee ramp-up and assist Operators, and ensure quality through checks. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read instruments, follow instructions in English, operate medium-complex machinery, and lift medium-heavy objects; US work authorization.

Salary range $23.50–$26.45 per hour; second and third shift premium; medical, dental and vision insurance; life

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English.
• Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for use in inspection.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences.

• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking.
• Check finished product/product component and submit for approval.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Your Qualifications

Salary Range: $23.50 - $26.45

2nd and 3rd shift premium available
