Schaeffler is seeking a Set-up Operator II for Cheraw, SC on the 2nd shift. You will set up and program operating machines, verify first test sequences, and support ramp-up with the operations team.

• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking
• Check finished product/product component and submits for approval
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences

Your Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required

Preferred:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read blueprints
