Job summary

Pentair in Hanover Park, IL is hiring a Set‑Up Machine Operator. You will set up, operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, support changeovers, conduct quality checks and maintain logs. The role requires handling materials, shipping/receiving tasks, and complying with safety procedures.

The position is full‑time, on site, with hourly pay around $22 and comprehensive benefits. Overtime, shift flexibility, and TPM participation are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret and follow standard work and work instruction procedures.
• Ability to read a micrometer and caliper, and other measuring devices.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel; experience with JDE is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting 10–50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Support machine changeovers, quality inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete production and quality logs accurately.
• Operate forklifts and manage material coils as needed.
• Assist in TPM activities and cross‑functional production tasks.
