Staffmark is hiring a Set Up Machine Operator in Spring Grove, IL. The role pays $16.00 per hour and runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM in a safe, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot wire terminating equipment to ensure quality production standards, working with mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy problem solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training beneficial.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with machine setup, maintenance, and quality inspections a plus.
• Knowledge of wire terminating equipment and wire/terminal crimping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up wire terminating machines according to production specifications.
• Identify and verify proper machine setup requirements for each job.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and specification compliance.
• Communicate machine operation issues and setup concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain machine maintenance records and production specification documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Assist with additional production-related duties as assigned.
