Job summary

Cedarbrook Lodge, in partnership with Columbia Hospitality, is seeking a Set Up Attendant to prepare banquet spaces for meetings, celebrations, and weddings. This role focuses on transforming event spaces into welcoming settings with attention to detail and a collaborative team approach.

You’ll work on the banquets team, with opportunities to grow through our learning platform and values-driven culture. Prior experience in similar environments is preferred and physical capability to lift 50 lbs

Qualifications

• One–two years of related environment experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and set rooms accordingly.
• Set up and clear rooms daily for banquet functions, including moving tables chairs, furniture & dance floors.
• Accurately forecasts number and types of furniture needed and anticipates the need for additional items.
• Ensures that banquet rooms are set properly and remain site tour ready at all times.
• Maintain proper care of all banquet equipment and return to its proper location.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
