TrasK House is a design and production house delivering powerful experiences to drive brands and creative culture. We seek a Set Prop Carpenter & Fabricator with a strong background in wood fabrication and experience working with acrylic, textiles, and LED wiring.

You will collaborate with designers and production teams, operate in-house fabrication equipment (3 Axis CNC, laser cutting, FDM printing), and perform precision woodworking using table saws, routers, and miter saws.

Formación

• Proven experience in prop design and fabrication with a portfolio showcase.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and technologies in set prop design.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks, Fusion 360, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software.

Responsabilidades

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Set Prop Carpenter & Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wood fabrication and construction, with proficiency in other materials such as acrylic, textiles, and LED wiring. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals and contribute to the creation of stunning visual experiences.We’re looking to fulfill larger orders as woodworkers and set designers, with the employee filling this position being a core element in growing that arm of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize 3D modeling software to translate designs into physical objects.
• Operate and maintain our in-house fabrication machines and tools, including 3 Axis CNC, laser cutting, and FDM 3D printing.
• Execute precision woodworking tasks using table saws, miter saws, and routers.
• Assist with truck loading and unloading, including forklift operation (training provided).
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workshop environment.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to bring creative visions to life.

Requirements

• Own transportation required with a valid drivers license
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency a plus.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Frequent walking, lifting, bending, standing, reaching, and ascending/descending stairs.
• Must be able to lift items weighing 50 lbs and more
