Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Additionally, obtain all pertinent patient demographic and insurance information and enter in appropriate computer systems. Assist patients to sign up for hospital and physicians electronic portal. You may also perform notification phone calls to relay procedure or surgery preparation information. You will also schedules patients’ appointment with multiple specialties including exams and medical procedures as requested. Schedule surgery encounters and coordinate OR location and times with OR scheduling teams. Interface with referring provider offices and internal departments to schedule these appointments. Most importantly, you will be the reassuring presence for the patients' needs as they navigate their hospital experience.
