Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Program Lead to support the SNS Manager in daily cafeteria operations. You will supervise staff, assist with food preparation, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The role emphasizes strong customer service and accurate record keeping.

You will build on ServSafe standards, manage cash handling, and coordinate with the School Nutrition department to ensure smooth service across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current ServSafe certification required.
• SNA Level 1 Certificate within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of food service methods and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the school cafeteria under SNS Manager.
• Train staff to perform food service tasks including prep, serving, cleanup, and cashiering.
• Learn and follow USDA regulations governing programs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Order weekly supplies by established due dates.
• Forecast production needs as requested by the SNS Manager.
• Read and follow standardized recipes.
• Check quality and accuracy of deliveries and invoices.
• Act as manager in the manager's absence.
