AgCarolina Farm Credit is seeking a Servicing Specialist in Dunn, NC to support loan origination, loan accounting, and servicing activities with meticulous attention to internal controls and regulatory compliance.

You will work in a collaborative team focused on service to agriculture and rural communities, handling documentation, file maintenance, and cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain digital and physical security files; keep documents current.
• Process loan accounting tasks: transactions, deposits, balancing, payments, GL entries.
• Monitor system reports; ensure internal controls and compliance.
• Maintain collateral files and UCC records, including releases and terminations.

Servicing Specialist – Dunn, NC

As a Servicing Specialist at AgCarolina Farm Credit, you will support loan origination, loan accounting, and servicing activities. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service to our members and internal partners while ensuring internal controls, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll work as part of a team that values teamwork, flexibility, attention to detail, and service to agriculture and rural communities.

What You’ll Do:

• Support loan origination by monitoring CRM queues, coordinating internal loan closings, verifying approvals and documentation, and completing post-closing follow-up
• Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy security files, ensuring all documentation is complete and current
• Perform loan accounting and servicing activities, including transaction processing, deposits, daily balancing, payment processing, and general ledger entries
• Monitor system reports, resolve errors, and ensure internal controls, policies, and procedures are followed
• Maintain collateral insurance and security files, including Deed of Trust releases and UCC continuations or terminatio ns

What We’re Looking For:

• Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance
• Strong analytical, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills
• Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating initiative and self-direction
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel for Association business, including commuting to the branch by opening and closing times
• Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to efficiently navigate multiple software systems and internal platforms
• Understanding of data security, confidentiality, and proper system usage
• Accurate and efficient data entry ski lls
