Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Services Specialist in the United States to manage resources and logistics for service and maintenance on customer sites. You will help maintain, repair, and refurbish products while working within predefined contracts and safety guidelines.
The role requires a high school diploma with 4+ years of field maintenance experience, plus low voltage troubleshooting and networking familiarity. Travel 65-80% is expected; a Bachelor's in Engineering is preferred.

As a Field Services Specialist, you will be responsible for all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' sites/properties. These activities contribute to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products
Handling all activities related to the testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant in accordance with the design objectives or specifications for operational use.
Communicating effectively the findings and recommendations via reports and verbal communication.
Maintaining calibration of specialized tools.
Handling standardized project processes and guidelines for choosing the right actions.
Relaying and implementing the processes and procedures that are frequently updated by other functions
Working on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks
Have High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience with field maintenance ideally in an industrial environment
Have experience in Low Voltage electrical troubleshooting.
Have been exposed to general networking practices/architectures.
Have been able to travel 65-80% of the time both by vehicle and air travel depending on location.
Have computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office suite and Windows Operating Systems.
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, applied engineering or technology.
