Job summary

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Engagement Expert at the Addison, TX location to lead and manage the orchestration of service engagements, fostering successful adoption of SAP solutions and strengthening customer relationships throughout the solution life-cycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT with 7+ years of experience (5 years with a Master’s) and deep SAP expertise in HANA, S/4 HANA, or BTP, plus executive-level communication and up to 80% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/IT with 7+ years of post-baccalaureate experience.
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/IT with 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience with SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, or SAP BTP.
• Proven ability to manage complex service engagements.

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Engagement Expert (multiple positions available) at our Addison, TX location to lead and manage the orchestration of service engagements, fostering successful adoption of SAP solutions and strengthening customer relationships throughout the solution life-cycle.

Expectations and Tasks

Guide long-term strategic engagements while ensuring alignment with business objectives and innovation. Proactively prevent or resolve critical situations. Provide holistic support and coordination across all SAP solutions in use by the customer. Represent SAP to customers. Understand customers strategic goals and direction. Implement governance models and develop engagement strategies which focus on customer satisfaction and innovation. Manage delivery of services to support SAP solution adoption and prevent critical situations. Maintain stakeholder relationships, including C-level interactions, to reinforce trusted partnerships. Identify risks, manage escalation paths, and document engagement progress and value realization.

Qualifications

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience

• SAP business and technical solution architectures;
• SAP’s Enterprise Solutions, Industry Solutions, Platform Solutions, Saas Solutions, or Partner Technologies;
• Leading design, implementation, and change management projects;
• SAP project management, value management, and quality management practices;
• Facilitating, negotiating, and de-escalating in core SAP technical areas and platforms; and
• Understanding business requirements to secure customer alignment and work delivery support teams.

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following

• SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP); and
• Executive Presentation of SAP services value and product adoption.

License/Certification required: SAP Certification for Premium Engagement.

Travel: Position does require up to 80% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to provide customer support and engagement delivery plans.

Compensation Range Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,835 - $206,640. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,900 - $258,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
