Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an experienced ServiceNow SPM Consultant to lead portfolio management initiatives for clients and internal teams. You will own the SPM backlog, align demand, projects, and resources with business goals, and drive governance across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, deliver iterative SPM solutions, and help organizations optimize investment planning and project delivery in hybrid environments. Prior SPM and ITIL knowledge required.

Qualifications

5–7 years of ServiceNow experience with Administrator Certification.
Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow SPM modules: Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Agile Development.
Experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in SPM implementations and portfolio management transformations.
3–5 years client-facing experience in a consulting/advisory role with stakeholder management.
3+ years working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe) delivering ServiceNow or SPM solutions.
Strong understanding of portfolio management, project delivery lifecycles, and resource planning.
Proven experience with project governance, demand prioritization, and portfolio reporting.
Experience with financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting within project or portfolio management tools.
Demonstrated ability to perform business and technical requirements analysis, process mapping, and solution design.
Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM principles and how they align with enterprise portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Lead SPM workshops to understand client portfolio management processes.
Define and communicate a clear SPM vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy.
Own and manage the SPM product backlog, prioritizing demand intake, project tracking, capacity planning, and financial management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify dependencies across SPM modules and drive sequencing.
Act as a strategic advisor to optimize portfolio visibility, investment planning, and resource utilization.
Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews with a focus on iterative SPM delivery.
Analyze portfolio and project management processes to identify governance improvements.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for SPM outcomes.
Drive stakeholder adoption of standardized demand, project, and resource management processes.
Ensure delivery of scalable solutions that support enterprise portfolio management and hybrid environments.
