NewRocket is seeking a ServiceNow S2P Solution Architect with Platform capabilities focus to be responsible for leading the successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions and services in a client-consulting environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements gathering workshops with clients in onsite and virtual environments.
- Configure and customize S2P/ITAM ServiceNow applications focusing on platform capabilities such as Mobile App Engine, UIBuilder, Workspaces, and Performance Analytics.
- Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, query optimization, and report-writing.
- Mentor project team members through peer reviews and provide technical guidance.
- Implement ServiceNow modules like IT Service Management, Knowledge Management, Service Level Management, Survey Management, Agent Workspace, Virtual Agent, Reports and Dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
- Create script-based assignment and approval rules, custom related lists, Access Control lists, UI Policies, and client scripts.
- Design and develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Create and execute development plans to meet evolving needs and requirements.
- Apply knowledge of ITIL V4 processes and participate in ITIL process implementation.
Additional Responsibilities
- Plan and package ServiceNow platform solutions and accelerators.
- Conduct presales demos and Proof of Value presentations for prospective customers.
- Lead S2P/ITAM capability requirements analysis sessions and customer workshops.
- Troubleshoot and support ServiceNow applications and systems.
- Draft use cases, functional requirements documents, proposals, and statements of work.
- Review and guide on functional requirements documents.
- Provide technical assistance in pre-sales activities.
- Design custom or product-based solutions based on ServiceNow applications.
Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow S2P/ITAM products.
- 6-12 years of IT services and proven architecture experience.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience on the ServiceNow platform.
- 5+ years of leadership experience with Enterprise Management and IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.
- 5+ years of client-facing consulting experience.
- Passion for engineering science and technology, applying principles and techniques to managed services design and production.
- Strong collaboration skills with customers, including needs assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation.
- Ability to thrive in strategic planning, resource allocation, and team coordination.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Technical Skills
- Scripting languages: HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, React.
- Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, Postgres.
- Integrations: Web Services (REST/SOAP), SSO (Azure, OKTA), SAML, LDAP, OAUTH, JDBC, SFTP, E-Bonding.
Education
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or demonstrated work experience.
