U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced software professional to analyze, design, test, develop and maintain software experiences within a ServiceNow-focused environment.

You will collaborate across the organization and adhere to agile and DevOps practices to minimize impact on customer experience. The role requires full-stack ownership, producing production-ready code, and ensuring compliance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow platform development experience with JavaScript (client- and server-side).
• Experience designing workflows, automation, and integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Workspace or Portal UI development using HTML/CSS with UX principles.
• General understanding of ServiceNow security, including RBAC and data privacy.
• Exposure to ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework (ATF).
• ServiceNow Mobile Studio or mobile-friendly development.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA or others).
• Implementations with Financial Service Operations in Banking & Wealth is a Nice to Have.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products.
• Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
• Ensures designs meet architectural best practices with focus on scalability, reliability and performance.
• Performs analysis on failures, proposes design changes, and encourages improvements.
• Makes sound coding decisions with customer experience in mind.
• Takes feedback from code reviews and applies changes to meet standards; conducts reviews to guide engineering best practices and compliance with procedures.
• Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
• Exhibits focus on reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards.
• Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to best practices for the bank’s technology transformation.
• Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Reviews tasks to ensure incremental delivery and communicates blockers early.
