Akira Technologies is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our team for a critical project supporting the United States Army. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow platform solutions to support Army IT service management and business process automation needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national defense while working with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This role is remote; US citizenship is required as it supports a US government contract.

About the Role

1. ServiceNow Platform Development: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, ITOM, and BPA applications, to meet Army requirements.
2. Platform Configuration: Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, forms, workflows, and integrations to support Army IT services.
3. Custom Application Development: Develop custom applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and relevant technologies for specific Army needs.
4. Integration and Orchestration: Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via APIs and develop workflows to automate IT processes.
5. Platform Administration: Manage user roles, access controls, perform system tuning, and maintain platform reliability.
6. Incident and Problem Management: Support incident workflows and root cause analysis within ServiceNow ITSM modules.
7. Documentation and Training: Document configurations and provide training to end-users and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related; Master’s preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development or engineering roles.
• Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, modules, scripting, and development.
• Experience with ServiceNow administration, customization, and integrations.
• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, BPA, and ITIL frameworks.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000

Our pay range considers skills, experience, certifications, and market data. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances and internal equity.
