Job summary

Seamless Migration, a US-based SDVOSB, is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SecOps or Vulnerability Response. You will configure vulnerability response, integrate scanners, and optimize CMDB matching to streamline remediation.

Collaborate with security analysts and application teams to build dashboards, refine risk scoring, and support incident response playbooks while maintaining security-first development practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including at least 2 years in SecOps or Vulnerability Response.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management concepts (CVSS, CVEs, patching, risk-based prioritization).
• Experience with CMDB, IRE, and CI matching as they relate to security data.

Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance Vulnerability Response, including vulnerable items, remediation tasks, vulnerability groups, and remediation target rules.
• Implement and maintain scanner integrations (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike).
• Tune CI identification and reconciliation to improve CMDB matching and reduce unmatched vulnerabilities.
• Build assignment logic and grouping rules that route remediation work to the right teams.
• Develop exception, deferral, and false-positive workflows with appropriate approvals.
• Support Security Incident Response (SIR) configuration, playbooks, and threat intelligence integrations.
• Build risk scoring, SLA tracking, and executive and operational dashboards using Performance Analytics.
• Work with security analysts, infrastructure owners, and application teams to refine processes and automation.

What you’ll do

What you bring

• Experience with CMDB, IRE, and CI matching as they relate to security data
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and REST integrations
• Ability to work with sensitive data and follow security-first development practices

Nice to have

• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS-Vulnerability Response, and/or CIS-Security Incident Response
• Experience with Application Vulnerability Response or Container Vulnerability Response
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms and MITRE ATT&CK
• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or GIAC
