Overview

GovCIO is seeking a project coordinator. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly visible team that is focused on forward-learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform. This customer-facing role will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will be fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a project Coordinator with demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow and government contracting experience. The candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience, a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, and a proven track record of supporting federal clients.

  • Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements. Maintains lines of communication among project team members. May be responsible for risk management. Must be available to address the needs of the project effort.
  • Reports project progress to management.
  • Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
  • Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral.
  • Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project.
  • Manages work for the team in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
  • Leverages Agile methodologies to effectively run projects
  • Pulls reports in ServiceNow
  • Navigate ServiceNow and create manual test scripts or user guides
  • Become familiar with multiple other platforms as needed by the branch
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline
  • 8 years of experience in IT
  • 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and workflows
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes, compliance, and documentation standards
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow is a must have to manage and track day-to-day activities for a variety of different project types
  • Experience with leveraging Agile methodologies to effectively run projects
  • Ability to pull reports in ServiceNow
  • Ability to navigate ServiceNow and create manual test scripts or user guides
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $81,850.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
