About The Role

We are looking for a fun and energetic individual eager to work for the world's largest commercial real estate company. CBRE dominates every aspect of commercial real estate, from brokerage and asset services to property development and management.

As a CBRE ServiceNow Principal Software Engineer, you will have experience with ServiceNow, web-based applications and technologies, possess strong communication skills, and have the desire to learn the general operations of a global D&T organization.

What You'll Do

1. Provide architecture, development, and administration of CBRE’s global ServiceNow platform.
2. Evaluate, design, and develop new features and roadmaps.
3. Serve as primary technical point of contact on complex customer engagements.
4. Translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation.
5. Analyze system processes and develop enhancements to improve user experience and system usability.
6. Mentor and assist other team members as the principal ServiceNow SME.
7. Diagnose incidents, develop workarounds or fixes.
8. Work with users to maximize ServiceNow product utilization.
9. Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (REST, SOAP, orchestration).
10. Develop AI solutions to enhance user experiences and operational efficiencies.
11. Develop scripts to automate tasks and integrations.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow development, configuration, integration, and administration experience in large environments.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow components: ITSM, AI/ML, ITOM, Policy & Compliance, Legal, HR, CSM, Integration Hub, Automation Center, RPA.
• At least 5 years of development/scripting experience with HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Jelly, PowerShell, Orchestration.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture, web service integration (REST, SOAP).
• Hands-on experience developing integrations between ServiceNow and other platforms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to analyze business situations and provide effective solutions.
• Experience in developing and implementing custom applications on ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and latest features.
