LightFeather is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer – Platform Engineer to support the Department of State’s Agency Data Division (ADD) program. This fully remote role focuses on developing, optimizing, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions across various DOS components.

You’ll deliver platform-wide customizations, integrations, and governance-aligned solutions that extend ServiceNow’s value to teams without dedicated platform infrastructure.

Position Details

• Location: Remote (U.S. based only)
• Job Type: Full Time
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required
• Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance or Higher Clearance

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions.
• Support DOS teams without dedicated ServiceNow instances.
• Implement API integrations and automation workflows.
• Align platform development with federal governance requirements.
• Provide troubleshooting and performance support.
• Deliver training and documentation for end users and admins.

Required Qualifications And Skills

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development with platform engineering experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, scripting, and module implementation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and related ServiceNow modules.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred

• CSA and CAD certifications.
• Federal government contracting experience, especially within DOS.
