Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking an entry-level Technical/Functional Analyst to help design and implement ServiceNow-based solutions that drive operational efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specs and UI mock-ups, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver value.

This hybrid role in the United States includes a salary range of $50,000–$75,000 with opportunities for growth in AI-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0-3 years in technical or business analysis.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to document requirements with guidance from senior team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication; convey ideas clearly.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Interest in technology, digital solutions, process improvement and automation.
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in discovery and design sessions to translate technical needs for stakeholders.
• Partners with business to drive adoption and ensure technical good practices.
• Analyzes ITIL processes and user requirements to improve efficiency.
• Identifies opportunities to improve user experiences through automation.
• Creates functional requirements and UI mock-ups to illustrate future states.
• Prepares technical user manuals, system configuration docs, and reports.
• Participates in Agile ceremonies including PI Planning and backlog grooming.
