Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow Development & HRSD Implementation (50%)
  • Develop and maintain applications, workflows, forms, and integrations using the ServiceNow platform, focusing on HRSD features such as Case Management, Lifecycle Events, and Employee Center.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand service needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design scalable, reusable configurations following ServiceNow best practices and HR data privacy standards.
  • HR Process Optimization & Platform Strategy (25%)
  • Act as a technical advisor to the HRIS team and HR functional areas on ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate HR processes, prioritize use cases based on impact and feasibility.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow HRSD capabilities and contribute to HR technology modernization roadmap.
  • Platform Support, Documentation, and Enablement (25%)
  • Provide Tier 2 support for HRSD-related requests and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Document technical solutions, configurations, and user guides for internal HRIS knowledge base.
  • Assist in building internal capability through training and mentoring HR team members on platform use and potential.
Position Scope:

Department & Reporting:

  • This position is within the Human Resources Department, reporting to the HRIS Manager.
Collaboration:

The developer will work closely with:

  • HRIS Team - Business/Systems Analysts, Software Developers, System Administrators
  • HR functional teams (Benefits, Talent, Employee Relations, etc.)
  • ISD Enterprise Service Management (ESM) team for platform alignment
  • External vendors and ServiceNow support as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • No budget authority, but may assist in vendor/license evaluation or renewal planning.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience across modules such as ITSM, CSM, or custom applications
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and development components (Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, ACLs)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a collaborative environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with ServiceNow HRSD or related employee service delivery use cases
  • Familiarity with HR processes and handling confidential employee data
  • ServiceNow certifications, especially Certified Application Developer or HRSD Implementation Specialist
  • Experience in regulated or secure environments (e.g., government, healthcare)

  • Third-party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
